When I painted this canvas, the title came to me at the very end... a surprise box! From a small square box, all sorts of unusual square, round shapes explode, which flourish on either side of this box. Blues have been used in all their different and multiple tones. This pot is sitting on a stormy blue sea. Again, a great contrast exists in the background that creates a great void in the unknown. Collages, oil pastels, paper and acrylic pencils were used to create this work without forgetting the structural mortar.
Original canvas on quality canvas. Mixed media with acrylic. Protective varnish and sides of the canvas painted in black acrylic. Ready to hang Certificate of authenticity.
