When in the garden the bloom is at its best, I capture these beauties by photographing them. This allows me to look for interesting details so that I can stylize my painted flowers. Peonies inspire me a lot mainly the hearts of these flowers that are absolutely fascinating. With the structural mortar, I allow myself to sculpt these flower hearts on my canvases. This brings a beautiful texture that I can vary depending on the movement I make with the spatula. This is a way of transferring reality into imagination!
